Best view of the curved staircase.

This is probably the best view of the curved stairway to the loft. People actually asked if the stairway was designed to mirror the chandelier. Actually, it was the other way around.

The rug defines a conversation space in the great room.

An intentional design of the great room is the implied conversation space marked by the rug, the close proximity of the couches, the couches themselves that encourage sitting up, and the open atmosphere.
