A-1 Rental Inc. is a construction equipment rental store in Rexburg, Idaho. They offer a wide range of equipment to rent including skid steers, excavators, compactors, generators, forklifts, and much more. They are also an authorized dealer of Husqvarna products, “a global leader in outdoor power products for forestry, park maintenance, and lawn & garden care.

In 1994, A-1 Rental purchased the Monolithic Dome originally constructed for Pappy’s Storehouse in 1983. The dome is 105-feet (32 m) in diameter by 35-feet (10.7 m) tall and sits alongside I-15 at the south end of Rexburg. The original dome was painted a bright, sunflower yellow with a sky blue racing stripe over the center. To travelers heading north to Rexburg, the dome appeared to sit in the middle of the freeway until you got close to it and the road curved around it.

In 1999, A-1 Rental gave the dome a makeover with metal cladding in red, white, and blue colors with the word "Rentals” embedded boldly in metal. It’s an unmistakable landmark at the entrance to the city.

A-1 Rental Inc. operates two locations—this location in Rexburg and one in Idaho Falls—and is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
