Texas Underground Dome

1987: After construction is completed, a Caterpillar D8, weighing over 43.5 tons, is used to move 30 feet of dirt onto this multi-dome underground home in Presidio County, Texas. The dozer drives directly over the dome, back and forth, burying the structure and leveling the ground above.
