In 2000, Italy residents passed a two-million dollar bond to build this 148-foot multipurpose building for Italy ISD. The facility will be used for basketball, physical education classes, volleyball, theatrical performances, and a variety of other activities. It will feature two levels of adequate seating for approximately 1430 people, a concession stand, ticket booth, locker rooms, bathrooms.

Alden Porter, Division Manager for Monolithic Construction Management is excited to see the project running one month ahead of schedule. Estimated completion date is Dec. 1, 2001.
