Due Sorelle Construction Photo JournalApril 29, 2004 Designers: Melinda, Sarah and Judy South Two Sisters in Italy, TexasDue Sorelle translates from Italian to mean "Two Sisters." Melinda and Sarah South, daughters of David South, recently began construction on a beautiful 32-foot diameter dome home. The 804-square-foot dome is built on a 2-foot stemwall. It will include two bedrooms and one bath. The bedroom sizes will be kept to a minimum to optimize the open living space while maximizing storage. The kitchen will also offer plenty of storage space. Judy South, mother of Melinda and Sarah worked together with them in the design and planning of Due Sorelle. The home is being constructed at the Monolithic Headquarters in Italy, Texas. Expected completion is November 2004. We will maintain a detailed photo journal online so you can watch its progress.
